Practice Overview

Jackie’s practice is primarily focused on litigation, first and third party insurance defense, and personal injury. During her work as in-house counsel for a major insurance carrier, Jackie maintained an undefeated record for jury trials as first and second chair defense attorney. Throughout her 9 years of experience as a litigator, she’s been successful at trying several cases and arguing a variety of motions including Motions for Summary Judgment, Motions to Strike, and Motions to Compel. Jackie has deposed countless parties, witnesses, and experts and has prepared the same for trial. She has litigation experience defending motor carriers, amusement parks, stores, and a variety of commercial defendants. 

During law school, Jackie served as an editor for the SMU International Law Review and continues to advocate for her clients using her excellent research and writing skills. She also understands the importance of client relationships and has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Although her practice primarily focuses on insurance defense, Jackie has experience in surety and labor and employment law.
