PRACTICE OVERVIEW

Mehak Ahmed is a defense litigation attorney licensed to practice in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. Her practice focuses primarily on motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dram shop, intentional torts, dog bites, personal injury, first-party claims, contract disputes, construction defects, corporate and business laws, and other complex legal matters. Mehak handles a wide range of litigation in both state and federal courts and has experience representing a diverse array of clients, including individuals, national insurance carriers, family-owned businesses, and large corporations in industries such as trucking, agriculture, consumer products, tire manufacturing, retail, hospitality, technology, health, fitness, and construction. She has successfully defended numerous clients and is consistently recognized for her exceptional customer service.

Prior to joining COX P.L.L.C., Mehak began her career as a prosecutor, where she gained invaluable courtroom experience. She then transitioned to serve as in-house counsel for an international insurance carrier, advising on issues related to compliance, risk management, and policy claims. Mehak further pursued her passion for litigation at an Am Law 100 firm, where she practiced commercial and general liability litigation. During law school, Mehak served as a Public Defender and completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Judge Rosemarie Aquilina in Lansing, Michigan. In her free time, Mehak enjoys cooking, and spending time with her husband and their three cats. Mehak is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
