Experience
Stephen has spent his legal career practicing litigation in the areas of defense base act, commercial motor vehicle, premise liability, construction defects, first-party insurance disputes, and coverage analysis. His experience in coverage has included advising insurers in complex coverage matters arising out of life insurance, all-risk, homeowner, accident only, intensive care unit, commercial general liability, and excess insurance policies. While in law school, Stephen was an Editor on the Houston Journal of International Law. In 2014, he was awarded the Marissa and Antroy Arreola Award for Outstanding Comment in International Law for the legal comment Bitcoin: The Napster of Currency which was published in the Spring 2015 edition of the Houston Journal of International Law.
