Experience

Jonathan McKinney specializes in general liability defense. Jonathan’s practice focuses on defending commercial transportation companies in both state and federal court. Prior to joining Cox P.L.L.C., Jonathan gained experience as a plaintiff’s lawyer – learning the common tactics of the opposing side before joining a regional Texas defense firm in 2022 where he gained extensive experience defending a wide variety of cases, including transportation cases, premises liability cases, security cases, and more.
