Practice Overview

Jose D. Garcia has more than thirty years of experience practicing law in Texas, spanning civil defense, insurance defense, personal injury litigation, consumer protection, and criminal prosecution. His practice covers all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation and discovery through dispositive briefing and trial. He previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in the special crimes and child welfare units, trying more than fifty cases, and as a Managing Assistant Attorney General enforcing the Deceptive Trade Practices Act on behalf of the State. Over the course of his career, he has represented insured clients, carriers, businesses, and the State of Texas in both state and federal court. Jose approaches each matter with a practical and strategic perspective shaped by experience on both sides of the docket.
